I chose to come to Warrington Collegiate because I wanted an insight of what Motor Vehicle is like.I want to get my NVQ so that when I've completed my course I can work in a garage.
I like working in a team with everybody and getting on with the lessons our tutor gives us. I enjoy learning different types of hair styles and how to do them. Always listen because you may forget things.

Warrington Collegiate works with a number of local schools to provide a range of vocational courses for students in year 10 and 11 (aged 14-16 years) at Key Stage 4. These courses run alongside the GCSE programme offered in school and students normally attend College for either 1 day or 2 days per week.
Vocational courses are a different way of learning from subjects studied in a school environment. Learning takes place in a practical setting, although pupils will of course study theory for some of the time in a classroom. Vocational learning is challenging and exciting, allows school pupils to be creative, giving you the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills base.
Xtra -Options (1 day programme)
A wide range of courses at Level 1 and Level 2 with clear progression routes to further study post-16. Level 1 and 2 Courses are available in Public Services, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Health & Social Care, Hospitality, Construction and Motor Vehicle.
Students then have the opportunity to progress onto one of our full-time post-16 vocational courses.
New 14-19 Diplomas (2 day programme)
You can study for a diploma at Level 1 (Foundation Diploma) or Level 2 (Higher Diploma). Foundation and Higher Level Diplomas are available in Business, Administration & Finance, Construction, Creative & Media, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Society, Health & Development.
Advanced Level Diplomas
The Advanced Level Diploma is a 2 year, full-time, level 3 course and is equivalent to 3.5 'A' Levels. This is an exciting new qualification that enables students to develop a sound knowledge base combined with the personal, learning and thinking skills that are transferable to employment and higher education. Warrington Collegiate specialises in vocational qualifications and offers Advanced Level Diplomas in Business, Administration & Finance, Creative & Media, Hospitality, Construction & The Built Environment, Hair & Beauty Studies, Society, Health & Development.
Warrington Collegiate works with local Secondary Schools in the Warrington area to provide students with impartial advice. We present to Year 9 pupils in the Warrington area when choosing your options for Year 10. Warrington Collegiate offers a variety of vocational courses at all levels to suit each individual.
