Beamont Collegiate Academy
Beamont Collegiate Academy officially launched in March 2013 and is part of The Warrington Collegiate Education Trust. The Academy guarantees high quality programmes designed for individual learners. All pupils are inspired to realise their full potential and progress to employment, further and higher education.
Future Tech Studio
The Future Tech Studio is a new type of state school for 14-19 year-olds of all abilities. The Future Tech Studio opened in September 2014. This new studio school has been proposed in response to research that highlights a growing gap between the skills and knowledge that young people leave school with, and the skills employers need. These include transferable work-related skills such as communication, team-working and enterprise skills, required for careers in the key sectors of IT and Telecommunications; Financial and Business Services and Energy and Utilities. Studio Schools pioneer a bold new approach to learning with a focus on teaching through enterprise projects, personalisation and real work. This approach ensures students’ learning is rooted in the real world and helps them to develop the skills and experience they need to flourish in life.
