The first Summer Ball on 4th June 2009 turned out to be a fantastic event with over 200 tickets being sold. Students and staff attended in their droves and a great time was had by all. The Halliwell Jones Stadium proved to be a great venue and the limos a hit with everyone. Paul Rauhihi and Chris Bridge, first team players from Warrington Wolves gave their time to present awards to the students from each faculty in the Highly Commended and Outstanding Achievement categories. Sue Quinn from the Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts was the MC for the evening and did a great job. Sue also persuaded 'The Band With No Name' to perform for the students.
